Home of the Vikings

  • The following changes have been made to the Winter Athletic Schedule:

Tonight's Boys Freshmen game has been cancelled.  The JV teams tip off at 6:00 at Lehman High School.

The Miami East After Prom will be hosting a quarter auction on Sunday, January 30th at 2:00 p.m.  Entry and first paddle will be $5.00.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase.  This is a fun and inexpensive way to get great stuff and support the after-prom committee.  If you have any questions, contact Jenni Kirby.

    $2.60 each day X 5 days =$13.00
Your family could save $13.00 each week by taking advantage of the free lunches every student at Miami East can receive.  Every student at Miami East is entitled to a free lunch, and does not have to complete any paperwork.

The primary goal of the career connections program is to secure full-time employment for students that are graduating and planning on entering the workforce or those who are undecided about post-secondary education.

C Just a reminder, this cannot be stressed enough.  Repeat after me...if anyone in your household is being tested...everyone needs to stay home until you receive the results.  If in doubt… please contact Dr. Rappold before sending your son/daughter to school.  It takes everyone’s teamwork to ensure everyone is safe.

The Miami East School District will periodically utilize the One Call Now system to relay information to parents.  The alerts will be sent to your home phone number.

If you would like to switch your home phone number to a cell number instead…simply contact Dr. Rappold with that change at

Even if you updated your phone number last year, please contact Dr. Rappold with any phone number you want listed other than your home number this year.  This update must be completed every year.  Simply contact Dr. Rappold with that change and the name of your son/daughter at
