  • C Just a reminder, this cannot be stressed enough.  Repeat after me...if anyone in your household is being tested...everyone needs to stay home until you receive the results.  If in doubt… please contact Dr. Rappold before sending your son/daughter to school.  It takes everyone’s teamwork to ensure everyone is safe.


    Happy Farm Safety Week! Happy Farm Safety Week! The FFA wants to remind you that 25% of all ATV accidents are age 16 years or younger. Please slow down and be safe.


    Fall sports pictures can be picked up in Mrs. Sniders office.

    Reminder to Seniors: If you have not turned in your shot records to the office please do so ASAP!


    All forms including Emergency Medical, Electronics Acceptable Use Policy, Student Handbook, Web Page, and Student Dance Agreement are due asap. THERE ARE A LOT OF STUDENT WHO DO NOT HAVE THESE TURNED IN. SEE MRS. HALL IF YOU NEED MORE FORMS.


    Attention Juniors and Seniors: An ACT workshop will be this Sunday and October 3rd at Fort Loramie High School. See Mr. Rutledge if interested!


    Attention Juniors and Seniors: ACT will be given here Tuesday, October 6th during school. Cost is $46.00. See Mr. Rutledge if interested. Deadline is September 29th.


    Attention Juniors: PSAT is October 14th during school. Cost is $17.00. See Mr. Rutledge if interested. Attention Juniors who signed up for the PSAT. Practice tests are now available. See Mr. Rutledge if interested.


    Attention students interested in University in Toledo: There will be a Zoom meeting with their representative, Wednesday, September 30th during 5th period. See Mr. Rutledge if interested.

    Ohio Northern Zoom meeting Thursday, October 1st during 2nd period. See Mr. Rutledge if interested in this meeting also.


    Buffalo Wings and Rings is hiring! Looking for people to mostly work weekends. Some weekdays. Anyone 16 years or older. Must be 18 yrs or older to be a server. Must have full availability with no sports to be a server. Pick up an application in the office and turn into Chelsea at Buffalo Wing and Rings in Piqua. Applications are available in the front office

    Substitute Custodian

    The Miami East School District will periodically utilize the One Call Now system to relay information to parents.  The alerts will be sent to your home phone number. 

    If you would like to switch your home phone number to a cell number instead…simply contact Dr. Rappold with that change at trappold@miamieast.k12.oh.us

    Even if you updated your phone number last year, please contact Dr. Rappold with any phone number you want listed other than your home number this year.  This update must be completed every year.  Simply contact Dr. Rappold with that change and the name of your son/daughter at trappold@miamieast.k12.oh.us


    Athletic Passes.  Viking fans may purchase a limited season pass.  These punch passes are only good for 10 admissions, but those can be any home sporting event.  Punch passes may be purchased for students or adults, high school or junior high events.  The price for an adult pass for high school games is $54, while a student pass for high school games is $20.  The cost of an adult pass for junior high games will be $36, while a student pass for junior high games will be $20.

    Progress Book.  For the 2020-2021 school year the Miami East School District will once again utilize Progress Book to updates students and parents regarding grades. Progress Book is a district-wide, web-based solution for K-12 schools. Progress Book enables parents and students to see student progress and see grades online. It can be accessed 24/7 from any internet web-browser.  Please utilize Progress Book to stay updated on your son/daughter’s grades.
