Miami East plans to open on August 26th. We know our community values our schools and desires for all students to safely return to classrooms on a daily basis. We share that same goal. We will have schedules, class lists, and bus routes “ready to go” for the first day.
We are currently working with the Miami County Health Department reviewing their recommendations and ensuring we follow the state’s recommendations to ensure our students return to school safely.
We are still working out the specific details of what the back to school plan will look like. In doing so, the District will be sending out a survey to our parents soliciting their input.
I hope you and your family are healthy and making the best of this situation. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support and teamwork from everyone! Parents and Students you have done a great job through trying times.
Remember Vikings “Believe in yourself, trust in your abilities, and you will succeed in everything that you do.
Stay Vikingstrong and be safe
