    35th Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner

    Miami East Local Schools will hold its 35th Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner, Tuesday, December 6th at 5:30 p.m. in the Miami East High School Cafeteria.  Please park in the back of the building and enter through the back door.  To be eligible to attend, you must be 60 years of age or older and live in the Miami East School District.

    For reservations, please call 335-7070, extension 3001, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  The deadline for reservations is November 25, 2022.


    The 95th National FFA Convention is the largest event hosted by the National FFA. 20 members of the Miami East-MVCTC FFA chapter were in attendance at the convention in Indianapolis.

    Over 65,000 members, parents, and guests were in attendance at the National FFA Convention. Previous conventions were held in Kansas City, Missouri and Louisville, Kentucky.

    The Miami East-MVCTC FFA Chapter received a Three-Star National Chapter Award, the highest award bestowed to an FFA Chapter. The chapter was selected for this honor based on its activities during the previous school year, in the areas of growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture.


    There will be NO SCHOOL at Miami East on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, November 23-25 in honor of the Thanksgiving Holiday.  School will resume on Monday, November 28th.

    Attention to ANYONE interested in travelling abroad. Señor Bell is leading a 9-day student trip to Spain in June 2024. The trip informational meeting will be Wednesday, December 7 @ 6:00p in the Lecture Hall. We will discuss pricing, itinerary, expectations, and address any questions you may have. This trip is available to EVERYONE, even if you've never taken Spanish. Please stop by Señor's room for more information.


    Attention juniors and seniors: The University of Northwest Ohio will be here Wednesday at 9:30 am. Sign up in google classroom if interested.


    Attention sophomores: Turn in your permission slip for the MVCTC field trip ASAP. If you don’t turn in your permission slip, you cannot attend. Questions, see Mr. Rutledge.

    Have you updated your information in FinalForms yet?  All parents in grades 1st thru 12th are required every year to verify and update information in FinalForms as soon as possible for the 2022-23 school year to ensure that they receive important school updates.


    Vaccinations.  7th and 12th graders are required to turn in their vaccinations.  If you have any questions, please contact the building's office.

    Even if you updated your phone number last year, please contact Dr. Rappold with any phone number you want listed other than your home number this year.  This update must be completed every year.  Simply contact Dr. Rappold with that change and the name of your son/daughter at trappold@miamieast.k12.oh.us

    Progress Book.  For the 2022-2023 school year the Miami East School District will once again utilize Progress Book to updates students and parents regarding grades. Progress Book is a district-wide, web-based solution for K-12 schools. Progress Book enables parents and students to see student progress and see grades online. It can be accessed 24/7 from any internet web-browser.  Please utilize Progress Book to stay updated on your son/daughter’s grades.
