• Are you interested in attending the Miami Valley Career Technology Center or Upper Valley Career Center during your 11th and 12th grade years?

    Below are websites that will give you more details about programs offered at both the Miami Valley Career Technology Center and Upper Valley Career Center. In the fall and winter of your 10th grade year you will be given more information on the application process to attend these 2 places. The most important thing to remember is that you must pass your classes in order to be accepted into the programs at both places.
     
    Miami East Local Schools provides transportation to MVCTC.  We do not provide transportation to UVCC because we open enroll our students there.
     
    Career Centers' Timeline
    Fall
    • MVCTC visits English classrooms here at Miami East High School.
    Winter
    • We take a visit for all interested sophomores to MVCTC for the day. The students will get to view 2 programs of their choice.
    • We begin the application process to both schools.
    • UVCC will come to Miami East High School at lunchtime to answer any questions you have about their programs.
    Spring
    • Acceptances for both schools will be in. You may be placed on a waiting list if a particular program is full. Final decisions will be made once end of year transcripts are sent to both schools.
