    ONE CALL NOW

    The Miami East School District will periodically utilize the One Call Now system to relay information to parents.  The alerts will be sent to your home phone number. 

    If you would like to switch your home phone number to a cell number instead…simply contact Dr. Rappold with that change at trappold@miamieast.k12.oh.us

    Even if you updated your phone number last year, please contact Dr. Rappold with any phone number you want listed other than your home number this year.  This update must be completed every year.  Simply contact Dr. Rappold with that change and the name of your son/daughter at trappold@miamieast.k12.oh.us


    Substitute Custodians Needed
    Do you want to be a substitute custodian?  Fill out an application today in the Miami East Board Office.


    Miami East Jr. Diamond Sports-Thank you Troy Foundation for the additional grant we received that allowed us to complete the blacktop path back to the concession stand. Last year, MEJRDS, received a grant from the Troy Foundation and the Miami County Foundation to lay the first phase. These supplementary funds allowed us to extended the path making the fields more accessible for ALL! We look forward to using in the 2020 season!


    Elementary - Girls on the Run

    The Girls on the Run (GOTR) program encourages girls to recognize their individual strengths and to make and celebrate connections with others. The girls learn about teamwork, healthy relationships, contributing in their community, and how to make a positive impact on the world.


    Kind   Kindergarten Students.   Attention Incoming Kindergarten Students for the 2019-2020 school year. This is a reminder to parents of incoming Kindergartners you need to have your physical and shot records returned to the elementary office by the first day of school.

    Many thanks to all of the parents who volunteered this year across the District!  In addition, the District continues to be very blessed having so many community members continuing to offer assistance all year long.  We could not have pulled it off without your support.

    The Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a program that mails a child a book every month until they are five years old. Altrusa has partnered with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library as a service project. Go to https://imaginationlibrary.com/ and register your child. Or visit the Troy Miami County Public Library.

    Attention Building Volunteers!!!

    Our background check for volunteers is changing.  Volunteers will now need to fill out a form from the office and submit to Mr. Rohrer.  The form will be used to run a background check.  The district will pick up the cost for the background check and it will be current for 3 years.  We are appreciative of all that our volunteers do at Miami East!

    Progress Book.  For the 2018-2019 school year the Miami East School District will once again utilize Progress Book to updates students and parents regarding grades. Progress Book is a district-wide, web-based solution for K-12 schools. Progress Book enables parents and students to see student progress and see grades online. It can be accessed 24/7 from any internet web-browser.  Please utilize Progress Book to stay updated on your son/daughter’s grades.
