Course Description: Advanced English 10 is a comprehensive study of language, literature, informational text, speaking/listening, and composition. The focus of instruction will be the Common Core Grade 10 standards for English/Language Arts as well as academic skills which lead to college readiness. Assessments will be from a combination of homework, quizzes, tests, projects, essays, research, speeches, and in-class work.
