Work Session Board Meeting

Rusty Miller, board president, called the work session meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., held in room 602 at Miami East Junior High School. The country was honored by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Roll Call was taken with board members Brad Burton, Mark Davis, Rusty Miller, and Lucy Taylor in attendance.

PUBLIC COMMENT:
There were no public comments heard.

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this work session was to discuss and revise the annual Board of Education self-appraisal mechanism used by Board members to evaluate various performance items.� Annually, in order to better ensure that the Board of Education is functioning as effectively as possible, it has conducted an annual assessment of its effectiveness using a self-evaluation checklist.� Board members reviewed and updated various sections of the evaluation form before using the checklist this year.�
