    Health Insurance Information
The OHSAA also requires that in order to participate in interscholastic sports, all student/athletes must have insurance coverage.  Parent and athlete must sign and submit an Athletic Policy form that verifies the student has sufficient coverage.  The Athletic Policy form is a part of the eligibility packet as mentioned above.  The following link provides an option for those families who do not have sufficient insurance coverage.

Participation in high school and/or junior high school athletics are a privilege not a right, and as such, there are certain requiremts that must be met.  Parents and student/athletes are encouraged to look over the Ohio High School Athletic Association's eligibility guidelines so as not to forfeit that privilege.  As a member of the OHSAA, Miami East Local Schools also has the authority to establish additional academic standards and athletic codes of conduct.
