Preston Elifritz is currently teaching Kindergarten at Miami East Elementary in Casstown, OH. He taught one year of 2nd Grade in the Vandalia Butler City Schools at Murlin Heights Elementary. In 2003 he returned to his Alma Mater to teach one year of 5th Grade at the Miami East Intermediate. When the district consolidated in 2004 and finished the brand new Miami East Elementary building, he transitioned to Kindergarten.

Mr. Elifritz started his life long journey towards growing up in a little town known as Fletcher, Ohio. During his childhood, many knew this thriving village as the Center of the Universe. His educational journey included stops at the Fletcher Elementary School and Miami East Intermediate, Junior High and Senior High Schools, concluding with a HS diploma in 1998. He chose to further himself academically at Mount Vernon Nazarene College [MVNC] in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Majoring in Early Childhood Education he also played varsity soccer and never got in trouble. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2002 from MVNC. Moreover, Mr. Elifritz holds his Master’s of Arts in Education degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, in Marion, Indiana.

In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family. It boasts a lovely and beautiful [wink, wink] wife Kairi, in whom he married in 2002, three daughters, Kennedee Anne, Emree Kate, Ivy Brynne and one son, Collier Max. Mr. Elifritz also enjoys long, wandering walks in his yard [located south of Casstown, Ohio] picking up the endless piles of leaves, grass clippings and fallen twigs.

Mr. Elifritz’s professional passion includes educating young minds and instilling a life-long love for learning while stopping to laugh along the way. Teaching/coaching at all levels has been a blessing to him.
