    Dear Parents/Guardians,
     
    My name is Mrs. DeTorres and I love teaching 4th grade at Miami East! I graduated from the University of Dayton with a Degree in Early Childhood Education. I currently live in Dayton, where I grew up. In my free time, I like to spend time with friends and family, read, and exercise.
     
    The best way to reach me is to contact me through email or through Remind. Remind is where I post important information such as homework assignments and events happening at school. I would also encourage you to have a Progress Book account because this is the best way to see how your child is doing and what assignments they are missing. Students will also be using Google Classroom throughout the school year. If we have e-days, assignments and directions will be posted on Google Classroom for students to complete.
     
    I am looking forward to an exciting year of growing and learning together!
