  • The Bethel and Miami East Hope Squads are joining together to sponsor Hoops for Hope night at the Bethel Versus Miami East Boys Basketball game on February 3rd.

    The Hope Squads work to support suicide and mental health awareness and to fight the stigma around getting help.  Help us spread the message of hope because, “You Matter.”


    The Miami East Education Foundation is selling Viking Strong car decals as a FUNdraiser for scholarships. $6.00 of every purchase will be donated! Decals are on sale at winter athletic events.     ATTENTION JR.     The 95th National FFA Convention is the largest event hosted by the National FFA. 20 members of the Miami East-MVCTC FFA chapter were in attendance at the convention in Indianapolis.

    Over 65,000 members, parents, and guests were in attendance at the National FFA Convention. Previous conventions were held in Kansas City, Missouri and Louisville, Kentucky.

    The Miami East-MVCTC FFA Chapter received a Three-Star National Chapter Award, the highest award bestowed to an FFA Chapter. The chapter was selected for this honor based on its activities during the previous school year, in the areas of growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture.


    2023 Summer Shutdown Week

    2023 Summer Shutdown Week will be July 3rd thru July 9th. Enjoy your week off!  Miami East has instituted a mandatory shutdown period for all Miami East students in grades 7 - 12 in Athletics, Band, and all extra-curricular activities for this week.   All school facilities will be closed, and there will be no practices or activities this week.


    Current job openings and substitute positions are posted under "Viking News" on the Miami East Website.

    Have you updated your information in FinalForms yet?  All parents in grades 1st thru 12th are required every year to verify and update information in FinalForms as soon as possible for the 2022-23 school year to ensure that they receive important school updates.


    Vaccinations.  7th and 12th graders are required to turn in their vaccinations.  If you have any questions, please contact the building's office.

    The Miami East School District will periodically utilize the One Call Now system to relay information to parents.  The alerts will be sent to your home phone number. 

    If you would like to switch your home phone number to a cell number instead…simply contact Dr. Rappold with that change at trappold@miamieast.k12.oh.us

    Even if you updated your phone number last year, please contact Dr. Rappold with any phone number you want listed other than your home number this year.  This update must be completed every year.  Simply contact Dr. Rappold with that change and the name of your son/daughter at trappold@miamieast.k12.oh.us

    Progress Book.  For the 2022-2023 school year the Miami East School District will once again utilize Progress Book to updates students and parents regarding grades. Progress Book is a district-wide, web-based solution for K-12 schools. Progress Book enables parents and students to see student progress and see grades online. It can be accessed 24/7 from any internet web-browser.  Please utilize Progress Book to stay updated on your son/daughter’s grades.
