         Welcome. This is my 20th year at Miami East. I am a Miami East graduate ('75) as is my husband Mark ('75), my daughter Amanda ('01), my daughter Rachel ('03), my two brothers and nephew. I received my bachelor's from Miami University in 1979 and earned my Master's in School Counseling from the University of Dayton in 2004.

       Both of my daughters graduated from Miami University. Amanda received her Master's in Social Work from OSU. She a social worker who lives in Columbus. Rachel is an Intervention Specialist for 3-5 year olds for West Clermont School District. She lives in Monroe with her husband, son and daughter. 

          My past free time activities were reading, crocheting, and playing with my two Chihuahuas, Naomi and Nico.  I still like to do those things but my favorite activity now is playing with and loving on my grandson, Gavin and his sister Shaelyn.  He will be 7 years old in Dec. and Shaelyn will be five on Sept. 13th.
       I love working with children. Watching the light bulb come on and seeing the pride shine when they complete a project. When I became an empty nester, people asked how it was not having my girls around. My reply,
