MEHS Prom

Prom will be held on April 18th, 2026 at The Buckeye Barn in Piqua, Ohio from 7:30-9:30pm  Promenade will start at 7pm

Tickets will be sold:  

Tuesday, April 7th through Wednesday, April 15th, before school, after school, and during meeting period ONLY.  

The high school office will remain open until 5:30pm on Wednesday, April 15th for the students that attend school off campus.  

ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED PRIOR TO 5:30PM ON WEDNESDAY 4/15/26.  

TICKET INFORMATION 

Seniors: FREE

Juniors who worked concession:  FREE

Juniors who didn’t work a concession:  $30.00

Underclassman guests and out of school guests:  $30.00

Outside guest forms are in the front office.  The outside guest form and the student dance policy forms on Final Forms need to be turned in prior to purchasing tickets.  

ABSOLUTELY NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.  

Promenade forms are available in the front office.  Please return these forms to Mrs. Lauck before Friday, April 17th. .  

After Prom Information

The Junior parents cordially invite all Miami East Juniors and Seniors to After-Prom 2026 at Scene 75.  After-Prom is from 11:00-1:30am.  Buses will depart promptly at 10:15pm after boarding.  All students attending After-Prom must ride to and from Scene 75 on the buses, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Miami East High School will be open to change into casual attire.  

After-Prom Ticket prices:  

JUNIORS AND SENIORS:  $10.00

UNDERCLASSMAN AND OUT OF SCHOOL GUESTS:  $15.00

No students/guests will be permitted to attend After-Prom if they are not attending Miami East’s Prom.  The Miami East buses will return to MEHS by 2am.  Deadline to purchase After-Prom tickets is Wednesday, April 15, 2026 in the high school office.  No tickets will be sold after the deadline.  Also, if you plan to jump in the inflatables please bring socks with you. 


MEHS Welcomes Mrs. Lauck as Building Secretary

MEHS would like to officially welcome Mrs. Lauck as our new building secretary. She began in this role on February 2nd, and we are excited to have her as part of the Miami East High School team. Mrs. Lauck plays an important role in the daily operations of the high school office and is responsible for managing and maintaining daily student attendance records.

When calling the high school office or visiting MEHS in person, Mrs. Lauck will be the friendly face and voice greeting you and assisting with your needs. She will help support students, parents, and staff with attendance-related questions and ensure that our attendance records remain accurate and up to date.

Junior Kara Hale Earns Superior Rating at Regional Science Fair

On Saturday, MEHS junior Kara Hale represented Miami East High School at The Ohio Academy of Science Regional Science Day held at Edison State Community College.

Kara earned a perfect Superior rating and will advance to the State Science Day competition—an outstanding accomplishment!

She also received two special awards:
• Wayne HealthCare and CareerVolt Award in Behavioral Science – 1st Place ($100)
• CareerVolt Best Abstract Award – $100

Congratulations, Kara! Your hard work, dedication, and passion for science continue to shine. We are proud of you and wish you the best at the state level!
