MEHS Picture Day
ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS will be getting their pictures taken!
Also, seniors will be getting their pictures taken for the senior class composite. Senior boys must wear a shirt with a collar (ties are optional), and senior girls should dress appropriately. Seniors who are not dressed as instructed will need to get a new picture during picture retakes or they will not be pictured on the composite.
Students attending MVCTC, UVCC and off campus colleges should plan to get your pictures taken as early as possible in order to arrive at your school on time. The photographers will begin taking pictures at 6:40 am in the high school gym. Picture packets will be distributed as soon as we receive them.

FFA Cruise-In for Suicide Prevention Planned
The Miami East-MVCTC FFA Chapter will be hosting a Cruise-In on Friday, September 12th from 4pm to 7pm. This event is open to cars, trucks, and tractors. The event will take place in the west parking lot of Board Office/Old High School at 3825 North State Route 589, Casstown, Ohio. Registration is from 3:30pm to 4pm and awards will be at 6:30pm. Sponsors of the event are Minster Bank and Troy Sports Center.
This Cruise-In entry is open to the general public and students. Entry fees for exhibition is $10 for general entry and $5 for students. Admission to the event is free. Prizes will be awarded for various classes of cars, trucks, and tractors. Refreshments will be available and a 50/50 will be conducted. All proceeds will be donated to suicide prevention in memory of Hunter Sharp. For further information, please contact the Miami East-MVCTC FFA Chapter at 335-7070 ext. 3212.
2026 All-State Choir Selected
Congrats to the following Miami East High School Symphonic Choir students on being selected for the 2026 OMEA All-State Choir. The students are:
Caleb Brubaker, Simon King, Brianna Williams, Alyssa Sink, Isabella Rowley, Nolan Crane, Hunter Thomas, Madi Frantz, Luke Fulton, Collier Elifritz and Alternate Tucker Barnett.
These students were selected by blind audition. They each submitted a recording of their vocal range and a class A OMEA solo. Students were coached by Mr. Omar Lozano and accompanied by Mrs. Melissa Lozano.
Homecoming T-Shirts On Sale Now!
Class homecoming t-shirts are on sale now until Wednesday at midnight. These will also be the same shirts worn by our juniors and seniors participating in the powder puff football game.
