Student Scheduling Info

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Believe it or not, the MEHS school counselors and teaching staff have been busy preparing for the 2026-2027 school year.  A very important part of this process is that each freshman, sophomore and junior complete and turn in a 2026-2027 scheduling request sheet. 

To help you better understand the process, below is the timeline that was followed:

Monday, February 2nd
Teachers took the first few minutes of each class to review scheduling sheets along with course offerings in their respective departments with students.

Friday, February 13th
Scheduling sheets were due. Students were instructed to turn completed forms in on the counter in the Counseling Center.

These sheets were due on Friday, February 13.  As of this email, we are missing a lot of sheets from our students. 

We ask that you please take a few minutes to speak with your student about their 2026–2027 scheduling sheet to ensure it has been thoughtfully completed and submitted to the Counseling Office. Having a conversation at home about course selections helps ensure that choices align with your student’s academic goals, graduation requirements, and post-secondary plans. If the sheet has not yet been turned in, please remind your student to do so as soon as possible so we can finalize schedules for the upcoming school year.
