Welcome to Miami East Local Schools!

It is an honor and privilege to serve as Superintendent of a district with such a strong tradition of excellence, community pride, and commitment to students. Since joining Miami East, I have been incredibly impressed by the dedication of our staff, the accomplishments of our students, and the tremendous support our schools receive from our families and community.

Miami East is a special place. Our district is built on strong relationships and a shared belief that our students deserve the very best educational experience we can provide. From the classroom to the athletic field, from the stage to our many clubs and student organizations, we want every Viking to have opportunities to learn, grow, discover their strengths, and prepare for what comes next.

Academic excellence will always remain at the heart of our mission. We are proud of the success our students and staff continue to achieve, including Miami East's Five-Star rating on the Ohio School Report Card. Those results reflect much more than numbers. They represent the daily work taking place in our classrooms, the commitment of our educators, the effort of our students, and the support of families who value education.

At the same time, excellence means continually looking for ways to improve. We will continue to evaluate our programs, strengthen opportunities for students, support our teachers and staff, and make thoughtful decisions that position Miami East for continued success.

As Superintendent, I believe communication, collaboration, transparency, and trust are essential to a strong school district. Our schools belong to our community, and I value the relationships we have with our students, staff, families, alumni, local businesses, and community members. Working together allows us to build upon the traditions that have made Miami East successful while preparing our students for an ever-changing future.

Most importantly, we want our students to know they are valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. Every decision we make should ultimately come back to what is best for the students we serve.
