The health and safety of our students and staff remain our highest priority. Our actions and decisions are rooted in protecting and supporting the welfare of our students and school community.
At our May 11 Board of Education meeting, we shared a statement regarding an active personnel matter. As part of our commitment to transparency, we again want to make our families and community aware that an investigation is currently underway.
We have heard the concerns raised by members of our community regarding the alleged conduct of a staff member, and we want to assure our families that all matters of this nature are taken very seriously. At the same time, we respectfully ask our community members to be mindful of the impact that online speculation and rumors can have on individuals, families, and the integrity of the process itself.
The District remains committed to following all Board policies, established procedures, and applicable laws. Appropriate action will be taken based upon the findings of the investigation.
At this time, there are limitations regarding what information can be publicly shared in order to protect the privacy rights of those involved. As additional information becomes available and is permitted to be released, we will provide updates to our families and community.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as this process moves forward. Again, the health, safety, and well-being of our students, staff, and community remain our top priority, and we will continue to act accordingly.
