Friday night the boys and girls basketball teams will hold the Hoops for Hope campaign with a silent auction, raffles and the Miracle Minute at the home boys basketball game.
Freshmen tip off at 5pm with the JV and Varsity follow. All proceeds go to Hospice of Miami County
Beginning immediately, any student choosing to leave a high school athletic event (for any reason), must pay admission for re-entry.
Students may only leave and re-enter if accompanied by an adult.

Miami East Local Schools switched to a new website and notification system over the summer. Today was one of the first days we used the phone call option. The phone number associated with us is from Arkansas: 501-712-2633 and text 98900. It might be a good idea to save these numbers as a contact for future messages.

Children can drop off a letter to Santa in the special mailbox located outside of Miami East High School's main entrance. Make sure to include your full name, address and anything you want Santa to know!
Santa will mail back a letter.
The Miami East Athletic Department will be collecting new toys for area children during their annual Toy Drive. All donations will go to the local Toys for Tots.
Athletic 10-Game punch cards are on sale in the Athletic Office at MEHS. Passes can be used at MEHS and MEJH athletic events.
MEHS is wanting to update its scrolling Military Tribute Board.

This program is available to any ME Community member that might need some friendship during the long winter. They will receive a bi-weekly letter from an FFA member and occasional mementos. To enroll a community member, complete the QR Code.
For the remaining 2 home HS football games (Oct 11 & 18), we will be limiting the area in which spectators can access behind the concession stand and scoreboard areas. This is to ensure the safety of our fans.

The Miami East FFA is taking part in the FFA Farm Safety Week. Today, our high school students participated by driving their tractors to school. I know the students look forward to this each year.
